POS: bar and restaurant

Orders that land on the bill and lower the stock

Take orders at the table, send them to the kitchen or the bar, and settle by cash, card, transfer or onto a guest's room bill. The stock follows every sale.

Your outlets and menu

Set up each bar and restaurant with its own menu, prices and tax.

  • Categories and items, each with a price, tax and where its ticket prints
  • Mark an item unavailable when it runs out

Orders at the table

Open a tab or a table, add items with notes, and split the bill when guests want to.

  • Designed for touch screens and phones
  • Voids need a reason, and a manager's approval above a set amount

Pay, or charge to the room

Settle at the table or put it on an in-house guest's bill.

  • Cash, card or bank transfer
  • Charge to room needs the permission and a guest who is in the house

Tickets for the kitchen and bar

Each station sees its own tickets and marks them done.

  • A voided item disappears from the ticket with a visible note
  • Optional tickets on a receipt printer

Stock follows the sale

Link menu items to stock items and every sale lowers the stock. A void puts it back.

  • Recipes with ingredient quantities
  • Cost and margin for each dish
  • Refuse or flag a sale that would take stock below zero, as you choose

Rules for service and prices

Add a service charge for an outlet, run happy-hour prices by time of day, and set a limit on staff discounts.

Questions

Good to know

Can a waiter charge a drink to a guest's room?

Yes, if their role allows it and the guest is in the house. The charge lands on the room's bill straight away.

Does a void remove the stock sale too?

Yes. Voiding an item puts its stock back, and the void is recorded with who did it and why.

Can I run more than one bar or restaurant?

Yes. Each outlet has its own menu, prices, tickets and reports.
