Xenia for an independent hotel

One hotel, one team, one set of figures. The desk, the bar, the store and the books agree with each other, and you can see them from anywhere.

For hotels

In practice

A day at the hotel, with Xenia

  1. Morning

See the day before the first guest arrives

The room board shows who is due out, which rooms are clean and which are waiting for housekeeping. The front desk home lists today's arrivals and departures.

    PMS
  2. Midday

Check guests in and take bookings

Walk-ins take a minute. Reservations with deposits turn into check-ins in one step, and a key card is issued from the same screen.

  3. Afternoon

Keep each guest's bill in one place

Charges from the room, the bar and the restaurant land on the same folio. Receipts and invoices come out as proper documents.

  4. Evening

Serve at the bar and restaurant

Orders go to the kitchen or bar, charge to a room or settle at the table, and the stock goes down as items sell.

  5. Night

    Close the day

Cashiers count their cash and close their shifts. At the night audit time Xenia charges overstaying guests once and builds the day's report.

  6. Next morning

    Read the report

Takings by method, revenue by department, occupancy and anything unusual, in the owner's inbox.

Questions

Good to know

Is Xenia too big for a small hotel?

You pay per room and start with a minimum number of rooms set by the plan, so a small hotel pays for what it uses. See the pricing page for the plans.

How long does setup take?

You add your room types, rooms and rates, then invite your staff. A first-run checklist in the portal walks you through it.

Can I try it with my own rooms first?

Yes. The free 14 days is a real trial with no card.
