Move from the desktop app without losing a day
If your hotel runs on the Xenia desktop app, you can move to the cloud version in steps, with the old system left alone until you are sure.
What moves across
- Buildings, floors and areas, and your rooms
- Reservations and bookings
- The guest directory, with duplicates merged
- The books: chart of accounts, bank accounts and journals, with the trial balance proved
- Your bar and restaurant menu and your stock
Not on the desktop app?
Hotels starting from spreadsheets or another system begin fresh: you add your rooms, and stock items can be imported from a CSV file. Guest and booking history from other systems does not import yet. Tell us what you have and we will say plainly what is possible.

Four steps, each one yours to approve
A rehearsal
We run the move on a copy first. It reports what it would bring across and checks every figure against your old records, without changing anything.
A week side by side
Your hotel keeps working on the desktop app. Xenia receives the same figures, and each day we compare the two and tell you about any difference.
A written go or no-go
You decide, in writing, using the comparison. If anything does not match, we do not go.
The move, then sign-off
The move is final once done, and your totals are checked against the desktop again. The desktop app stays exactly as it is until you agree to retire it.
